We've found that integrated lights may be more expensive at the start, but the savings come over the years in service. The cost to replace the bulb in non-integrated fixtures is quite expensive over the years; service call + bulb cost (30-50 per bulb) and you will be replacing bulbs quite a few times compared to the 15 year warranty offered by Kichler.

The connection points between the bulbs and the fixtures are inherently the weakest point of any non-integrated fixtures. As the points of contact will slowly degrade over time, causing excess heat which will deform/melt parts, which will mean a replacement bulb or even a replacement fixture.
